CMSNA Moves into the Fast Lane with Fiat

CMS is a proud partner of the storied Italian automaker, Fiat. Fiat uses our CNC plastic cutting machines to precisely tool the instrument panels that can be found in the dashboards of Fiat cars. Our work doesn’t stop with dashboards. Our CNC centers have advanced capabilities that can be used to machine other auto parts, including unibody frames, just like the one that Alfa Romeo uses for its 4C sports car. With the help of our technology, Alfa Romeo manufactured a car that performs exceptionally and weighs less than 2,000 pounds.

Because CMSNA has decades of experience in the industry and has the capacity to customize CNC machines to meet customers’ unique needs, we were able to help Fiat and Alfa Romeo develop the tools they needed to make high-performance parts for their vehicles.

Our CNC plastic machining centers are fast and efficient – just like Italian cars.

CMSNA at JEC Americas Composites Show & Conferences

In mid-May, CMSNA will have a presence at JEC Americas Composites Show & Conferences in Atlanta, Georgia. We are excited to have the opportunity to exhibit our CNC systems to manufacturers from around the world representing industries ranging from aerospace to wind energy.

At the conference, we will have the opportunity to showcase our successes with machining thermoplastics. From carving vents in motorcycle helmets to notches in car doors, we have extensive experience with machining thermoplastics. Our state-of-the-art CNC machining centers allow you to make cuts from multiple angles – flexibility that maximizes accuracy.

CMSNA Talking Points: Avoid a Waterjet Installation “Nightmare”

When installing a waterjet machining center, considering these key factors can help you avoid unforeseen costs. Think about how you will handle overflow and debris. Decide whether you will use a suction separator or dredge conveyor system, and make sure that you have enough floor space for it. Lastly, the system will need 3 phase electricity. For more details about the importance of these considerations, please visit our blog.

Thank you for your continued interest in our high-performance CNC machining centers. CMSNA looks forward to serving your project needs in 2014 and beyond.
