CMS Technology Leads Oracle Racing to America's Cup Victory

In preparation for the 33rd America's Cup, Oracle Racing utilized CMS’ advanced CNC machining technology to manufacture composite material parts for their AC45-class trimaran. These parts include the boat’s innovative carbon fiber and Kevlar wing-sail—the largest of its kind ever built—which ultimately helped propel Oracle Racing to victory.

Oracle Racing Employs CMS' Ares & Poseidon for Yacht Building

After winning the America's Cup in 2010 with a yacht built from parts machined on one of our Ares CNC machining centers, Oracle Racing again turned to CMS for advanced manufacturing technology. Oracle Racing purchased a Poseidon moving bridge system to aid in the machining of parts for the AC72-class boat they would race in the 2013 America's Cup.
