The beauty of furnishings comes from the solidity of materials and from ideas. The quest for new styles becomes design, elegance and fashion. That’s what Audasso is all about. Every door made by Audasso has its character, its personality – to be the main feature of every room.

The company

Based in the Piemonte region, Antonio Audasso SpA was founded in 1958 as a family business and managed to make a name for themselves in the market thanks to their continuously innovative products. Gradually they became an industrial concern, reaching the present production capacity and supplying their products – over 20 models with hundreds of versions in different sizes and functions – to more than 300 specialist shops.

Their production is currently based in Borgaro Torinese (TO), covering an area of 36,000 m2, of which 12,000 m2 is indoors. The distinctive features of Audasso’s product are quality, research and innovation.

Certified since 1994, in 2003 the company achieved certification according to Quality System UNI EN ISO 9001-2000, which requires the most stringent controls on the whole production cycle, to ensure that every door is extremely solid and long-lasting. The choice of materials is basic to quality: natural veneer such as Italian walnut, Tanganica walnut, oak, cherry-wood and beech, but also melamine coating to meet the increasing demand for sustainable alternative materials.

In an increasingly competitive market Audasso stands out in making doors the main feature of houses, with design elements which are functional, elegant, original and exclusive. To do so Audasso is always searching for new design ideas, combining the solidity and versatility of materials and structures to modern and stylish solutions.

Why CMS

The first CMS machine was delivered 30 years ago and has been upgraded over this time; it is still working, cutting the apertures in Audasso’s doors.

There has been a steady rise over the years in the demand for doors with glass openings due to the trend for building smaller houses and the need for sunny rooms.

Yet the market for interior doors has also evolved towards more and more sophisticated and intricate products – such as folding doors – pushing manufacturers to be increasingly flexible in their production: as a consequence CNC machines have become the core of production units. The CMS product, which was originally chosen for its sturdy mechanics to ensure high machining quality and ongoing productivity, has been more and more appreciated by Audasso for its reliability, versatility and capacity to “grow” together with the company. Therefore the new CMS machine has not replaced the previous one, but has been located alongside it, to increase production and reduce machining times. In fact CMS machines can be brought up to date to achieve further performance at a reasonable cost ratio. CMS also provide a responsive maintenance and after-sales service.
