Albertini - windows and doors provide the finishing touches of a home and are one of its most demanding jobs
For a home, a window is an element of separation and union with the rest of the world. It must close out and protect, make possible the entrance of light and a view to the world outside, decorate and embellish the dwelling. To design and create windows and French doors is in reality one of the most demanding jobs of the architect and craftsman.
The company
With over 50 years of experience in the construction of wood doors and windows, Albertini SpA has obtained and maintained its position as leader in this sector, happily combining the flexibility of the traditional approach with the quality and reliability of industrial processing. In the Colognola ai Colli plant, in the province of Verona, the company produces an annual turnover that exceeds 23 million Euro, benefiting from the collaboration of its 160 employees and the distribution of its products in Italy (through a distribution network of 300 resellers) and in other countries (United States, India, Spain, Greece, Israel, East Europe, Cyprus).
The production line and the entire company system are set up to offer an efficient and high quality production of custom doors and windows that make it possible to compete with success in all markets, including those that make the most original requests.
A
careful policy of constant monitoring of suppliers, of materials and of each phase
of production guarantees reliability and a stimulus for continuous improvement
and is at the basis of a philosophy of quality, always promoted by Albertini,
the first company in Italy to have obtained the certification of its Quality
System according to the UNI EN ISO 9002 rules. This was the first step toward a
series of important certifications that have recently brought about an
integrated management system: the certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 assures the constant obligation by
Albertini to improve its product and process; the ISO 14001:2004 certification
attests the determination of the company to carry out its own activity in
respect of the environment. And in line with its company tradition of
innovation, moreover, Albertini already respects the requirements of the
reference rule EN 14351:2006 and all the standard production is labelled CE.
The company is moreover proud to be able to boast of its internal Research and
Development laboratory (Tecn’A) in which, following the final routine testing
on every product, the performance levels of permeability to air, water
tightness and resistance to wind load on the door and window products is
verified by samples. A further strong point lies in a competent technical
staff, able to receive any design request, to verify its feasibility and offer
products and cutting edge solutions, of an aesthetically and architecturally high
level, including all the doors and windows usually identified as “special”
(arched sliding windows, curves in place, non-square, etc.), efficiently
implemented only by companies specifically equipped for planning and
technology.
Why CMS
The first CMS machining centre entered into production in 1999, with the task to process the curved doors and windows. In deciding to purchase, a selection process was carried out that involved all the most notable wood machine constructor companies that had developed solutions for the door and window sector.
The selection came to CMS because of its characteristics as a reliable, competent and flexible company, available to make the customer’s objectives its own. Since then the productive potential of Albertini has increased considerably, elevating both the qualitative aspects of its products, and its productive volumes, profiting from CMS’s technical support which is always available and well prepared to respond to each question.
At a distance of two years – to be able to handle the needs of increased production volumes – the addition of second machine has confirmed the selection of CMS and the desire to continue a path begun with satisfaction. The CMS machining centres in production at Albertini contribute to industrialize a typically traditional production, uniting technology, experience and creativity.
