CNC Machining Centers
CMS is proud of our status as an innovator in the Stone industry. Our first stone CNC machine in the US was installed in New York in 1986. At the time it was the first CNC machine designed specifically for the stone industry. Among our many innovations, we were the first company to introduce a low worktable to ease loading and unloading for the operator. The first to introduce a 4th axis saw transmission, and the 30 deg blade transmission for sawing circles and the first to introduce automatic tilting head. The longevity of our stone cutting machines can be attributed to the monbloc construction, Best in class Materials, and Engineering from a production prospective. Our equipment is designed to Produce.
Single Table 3 / 4 Axis
The single table stone CNC machine is our standard solution for companies new to the stone industry or companies wanting to expand their production using CNC machining centers. CMS offers many models of single table machines with 3 or 4 axis and many different table sizes.
Double Table 3 / 4 Axis
The double table stone CNC machines provide higher productivity by using two individual tables back to back. When a double table CNC stone cutting machine is working on one table, the operator can be unloading, cleaning and reloading parts on the other table, eliminating down time between working cycles. The tool racks of a double table machine can be installed in the center of the machine between the tables and can have a maximum of 52 tool holders. Essentially, a double table stone CNC machining center is never at rest, always at work and can increase productivity up to 30% in some cases.

Single Table 5 Axis
A single table 5 axis CNC machining center has a fully interpolated 5 axis head. The rugged head design assures accuracy and durability. The standard 40 HP electro spindle gives you the power and flexibility to expand your production into new markets. A 5 axis stone cutting machine can give you higher efficiency than a 3 or 4 axis, and it can use larger blades for material removal and double as a CNC bridge saw. 3D carving work, statuary, and 3D laser scanning are some of the many capabilities of a 5 axis machine. Our 5 axis machines are available in 35" or 55" work height.

Double Table 5 Axis
A double table 5 axis stone CNC machine offers the ability for pendular motion. Pendular machining helps to increase productivity through decreasing down time between work cycles. Another benefit of choosing a double table 5 axis stone CNC machining center is the flexibility of configuration. While the first table may be a standard one the second can be infinitely configured–for example, a lathe option to allow for machining of huge stone blocks as heavy as 22,000 lbs. Another configuration option allows the second table to be used as a bridge saw table which means there is no need to buy two machines.
